Injectable solution
ANTACID, AGAINST METABOLIC ACIDOSIS
COMPOSITION: 100 mL contains
Sodium bicarbonate 8.4 g
INDICATIONS:
- Control metabolic acidosis caused by severe renal disease, diabetes, circulatory failure because of shock or severe dehydration and severe lactic acidosis in cattle, horses, sheep, swine and dogs.
- Sodium Bicarbonate has action on alkalinizing the urine in cattle, horses, sheep, swine and dogs.
DOSAGE: Slow intravenous administration.
Cattle, horses, sheep, swine and dogs: 2 – 5 mL/kg B.W within 4 – 8 hours.
Withdrawal time: None
Contra-indication: Do not use for animals with metabolic/ respiratory alkalosis and hypocalcemia.
PRESERVATION: Store in a cool place and keep out of direct sunlight.
