Albendazole
INDICATIONS
Deworming, anti-helminth on poultry and livestock.
METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION
- Swine, calves, cattle, buffalos:
General dose: 1 ml/ 12 kg B.W
Against hepatic fasciola: 1 ml/ 10 kg B.W
- Sheep, goats:
General dose: 1 ml/ 20 kg B.W
Against hepatic fasciola: 1 ml/ 12 kg B.W
- Poultry: 1 ml/ 8 – 10 kg B.W or dilute 1 ml/ 1 L of drinking water
- Dogs, cats: 1 ml/ 5 – 10 kg B.W
Severe cases repeat 3 – 4 weeks later.
Notes:
- Shake well before using.
- Diluted medicine should be used during 24 hours.
Withdrawal time:
- For meat: 12 days
- For milk: 4 days
Contra-indication:
- Not administering to livestock during the first 45 days of pregnancy.
